The root card is the first card that will be shown when creating or viewing a message for a template. A template can contain one or more cards but must have at least a root card.
There are two types of cards, form cards and list cards. Form cards are used for displaying input fields such as text fields and pop-up menus. List cards are used to display a collection of sub entries. A list card uses a sub template to add and edit each of its entries. An example may be a work roster which has entries for each of the shift times.
